Pietro Consolandi is an Environmental Humanities researcher and artist. He lives and works between Venice and the Isle of Wight, where he is a PhD candidate at the University of Southampton’s Leverhulme PIRS programme. In 2018, he founded the art and ecology collective Barena Bianca in Venice.
He contributed to the development of the European network Confluence of European Water Bodies and has collaborated with TBA21–Academy since 2020. Together with Amalia Rossi, he took part in the campaign for the rights of the Venice Lagoon, contributing to the creation of IDRA (Initiative for the Rights of Water Networks).
